Alfredo Sfeir Younis is an economist and has developed an extensive international career in development, natural resources, and sustainability. He worked at the World Bank between 1976 and 2005, where he held, among other responsibilities, roles such as natural resources economist, special representative to the United Nations, and senior advisor.nnAt the 2nd South American Indigenous Business Forum, he presented the vision that inspires the South American Indigenous Business Bank and was honored as Ambassador of the Forum. His proposal opens a conversation about financial instruments conceived from the economic, territorial, and cultural realities of indigenous peoples.
